Holidays weren't bad. Still missed him.
Taking a week off of work.
Finally have a night off work.
Nick dressed nicely and smiled, he was actually excited to see Belle again. He kept shooting glares at Aleisha as she teased him until he threw stuff at her and she left snickering. He muttered under his breath at her and shook his head. She was enjoying playing up the part of bratty little sister.
He bought Belle some flowers then, simple daisies. He just hoped she liked them. Right on time he arrived at her door and knocked waiting.

Definitely have to go out again.
Nick was excited for a break in work and just sitting home. Belle seemed to be a nice woman, the fact she was attractive as well made it for a nice distraction from everything he dealt with. He showed up at the library she worked at and came up to the counter and leaned on it smiling.
"Hello there Belle."

Vacation needed. Taking a road trip.
One of these days I'm just gonna die from stress.
Anyone that knows me already knows the names of the people I'd bite the bullet for. For those that don't here is a list of names: Gil Grissom, Warrick Brown, Sara Sidle, Greg Sanders, Catherine Willows, My mom, My dad, my family. Then again I consider everyone on that list my family. I know we all feel the same too which works perfectly. Unless of course we ever faced with the situation one of us had to be shot, we'd all be offering ourselves up to be the one to be shot so the others weren't. We are close knit like it hurt them to watch me on camera buried and them not knowing where I was. The same feeling we had when Sara was taken. The not knowing where she was, I knew then how they had felt when it was me.
Now as who'd I'd like to put a bullet in? I guess I really shouldn't be saying this but hell I'm a person right? I'd love to put a bullet into anyone that hurts a child, or hurts a woman. I might be old fashioned but I was raised to treat a woman proper, not beat her up and bloody her. Then again I believe no one should hurt another person even if I'd be out of a job. The ones that get under my skin the most though are the wife beaters, the ones that beat their children. Worse yet people who rape and beat women and children. For me it's the children that hurt the most. Then again it might have to do with my being molested as a child myself.

"I swear I didn't misplace those files Grissom."
"Nick they aren't on my desk and it says you were the last to have them."
"I put them back though Grissom."
"Evidence doesn't lie Nick."
Nick paused and blinked trying to figure out how to dispute that. He watched Grissom's brow raise slightly then waiting.
"I don't know what to say Grissom."
"Don't say anything just find them."
"Alright Grissom."
"Oh and Nick? Let's hope nothing is missing to mess up our case."
Nick's face paled then at that. Man if something was missing Nick could end up on suspension or worse, fired. He went back to his desk and looked through the drawers, and even checked his locker. He sighed unable to find it when Grissom walked in and held it up.
"I found it Nick. On Warrick's desk."
"Man told you I didn't misplace it."
"Good night Nick."
He stood and blinked watching Grissom simply walk away, no apology, nothing. Typical Grissom.

Sometimes the job is too hard, especially when involving kids.
